Pastor Deneen is passionate about sharing how the word of God is STILL relevant and can be applied in our daily lives. She finds great joy in building relationships with others as they process His truth while living out their created purpose.  She believes in a world full of conflict and competition we have to educate, equip and encourage those around us as we ALL strive to live the life God created for each of us.She often talks about the importance of slowing down so we don't miss the little things such as the quiet voice, small gentle touch or hidden tears of those close to us as we try to keep up with the ever increasing speed of the world around us.  
To remind us ALL are needed the highly quoted African proverb says "It takes a village to raise a child" ...so with that being said, Pastor Deneen believes our "entire" (not just one) faith community is needed to carry our the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20 NIV: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

The Ministry Internship is position that will assist the Pastor and provide support to other ministries and church functions (ex: children’s ministry, youth ministry, young adult ministry, general communications and marketing).
This person will work with the Pastor(s), church board, and church members to:

• facilitate Christ-centered connection (exalt),
• engage people in ministry and service (equip),
• encourage people in their relationships with God and the people around them (evangelize).

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: Deacon Rickey Jeffery is responsible for the organization, administration and supervision of all Christian Education programs and Sunday school

Deacon Curtis Johnson is responsible for all missionary education, oversees and cooperates in the collection of donations that support the four major regional Projects.

 Deacon RENE’ WILLIAMS is responsible for the upkeep and improvement of Church property including the grounds and buildings.  And oversee custodial care of the facility.

 Deacon Treva Johnson is responsible for creating  means to attract and maintain the attention of youth. Building relationships with It schools and community to bring into focus what is truly needed both spiritually and physically.

Ms. Veronica Jeffrey as Church clerk shall keep accurate and adequate records of the proceedings of all business meetings of the church. She keeps a current list of active church members for the department of membership.

Deacon Joyce McDougal is responsible for a yearly financial promotion and enlistment program for the members. Having financial stewardship education and presentation with cooperation of the Pastor.  And keeping adequate financial records of giving and expenditures of funds, providing a monthly report of activities to the Deacon Board

 Deacon Cynthia Love
Is responsible for working with the Pastor in receiving new members into the congregation.  Assist in calling, visiting the sick and shut in, sending flowers and cards on the appropriate occasions. Oversees church prayer chain and prayer line requests.
